Ukukhanya okungu-1490nm/1310nm kokuxhuma idivayisi ye-ONT. Zifaneleka kakhulu ohlelweni lwe-PON kanye ne-TV.
Lo mshini usebenzisa ishubhu yokwamukela i-optical enozwela oluphezulu, ngaphandle kokunikezwa kwamandla, futhi akukho ukusetshenziswa kwamandla.
